About us

Welcome to global health and fitness, online home of the company of the same name, and the fitness blog of its founder, Suraj yadaw.1

RFS originally began as a personal training company servicing the NYC Metro area back in 2003. Through that company, Roman coached everyone from professional athletes to actors to regular folks.

In 2009, he started this site to more conveniently merge his love of fitness and writing. While it was “just a blog” at first, it quickly became much, much more. Slowly but surely, writing articles, blog posts and books became the priority.

Just over a year later came the bittersweet decision to close the doors on Roman Fitness Systems, LLC, the personal training company and to focus on everything else.

That was just a few years ago, and things have grown by leaps and bounds.

These days, we’re operating as Roman Fitness Systems, Inc. — no longer a single guy with a blog, we’re a full company with nearly a dozen employees, over half a dozen products, and a lot more structure.2

Despite the rapid growth over the past several years, one thing hasn’t changed: RFS continues to be one of the most respected sites for high-quality fitness and lifestyle information around. It’s our goal to make sure that never changes.

As things have continued to evolve, we no longer exclusively focus on fitness content, and actively seek content in all arenas of personal and business development.

So, if you’re new here: welcome, and thanks for stopping by. We’ve got some awesome stuff for you, and we want to make sure you don’t leave without it.

If you want to lose fat, we highly recommend you grab The 5 Principles of Radical Fat Loss – it’s full of strategies, guidelines and even workouts, outlining exactly what you need to do to make the fastest fat loss progress possible. You can grab that one here.

If you’re looking for some amazing programs to help you meet your goals, take a peek at those we’ve published over the past few years.

First and foremost among these is Roman’s New York Times bestselling book, Engineering the AlphaIn addition, we’ve got several amazing programs for goals ranging from losing the last few pounds to surviving the Zombie Apocalypse. All of them are listed in the footer, so check’em out.

(If you’re looking for something specific, you can always use the search bar at the bottom of the site.)

That about covers it! Again, if you’re new here: welcome to RFS—we think you’ll love it here, and we can’t wait to help you crush life.

For those of you who’ve been around for a while, let us extend a heartfelt thanks for being part of the Roman Fitness Empire; we wouldn’t be here without you.

  1. You can read more about that jackass here, if you’re interested. ↩
  2. For those interested in such things, Roman Fitness Systems is really split into three distinct arms.
    • RFS Publishing – through which we create and distribute content, including ebooks and articles.
    • RFS Promotions – through which we handle the marketing side of things, including any affiliations we have with other companies.
    • RFS Consulting – through which we run the online coaching and the business coaching we provide other entrepreneurs.

    So there’s that.
